Class of 2026

Hi I'm Tyler
Nice to meet you!

I thought I’d take a moment to share a little about who I am, where I’m from, and what led me to create Clearview Mobile Diagnostics.

I was born in Spokane, Washington, and raised in Western Montana. I’ve always felt a strong connection to the Inland Northwest, and no matter where life has taken me, it has always felt like home. I truly love all four seasons—well, maybe not the muddy part of spring! ;)

My journey into echocardiography started when I was 15 years old, when I had the opportunity to job shadow my aunt, Shawn Roberts, a cardiac sonographer at Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. She had graduated from Spokane Community College’s echocardiography program in 1982, and those few days observing her work made a lasting impression on me.

After high school, I moved to Spokane and enrolled in the same echocardiography program. In 2012, I graduated and began my career as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.

Over the next decade, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings—from large hospitals in Denver to small clinics throughout the Inland Northwest, and eventually Kaiser Permanente in Maui, Hawaii. One of the most rewarding parts of my career was working with a traveling cardiology clinic that brought services directly to smaller communities where access to care was limited.

Eventually, my love for the Inland Northwest brought me back to Idaho, where I settled near Post Falls. Around the same time, I returned to Spokane Community College as an instructor in the echocardiography program I had graduated from years earlier. I quickly discovered how much I enjoyed teaching, and eventually became the program director.

My years in education were some of the most rewarding of my career. I had the opportunity to work with countless students, clinical sites, and healthcare professionals, and to watch students grow into confident, skilled echocardiographers.

But that experience also exposed me to a problem that was difficult to ignore: patients are waiting longer and longer for cardiac testing.

Through my work with hospitals, clinics, and students, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be for healthcare systems to keep up with the demand for echocardiograms. Patients were sometimes waiting weeks or even months for an appointment.

I kept thinking, there has to be a better way.

That idea ultimately became Clearview Mobile Diagnostics.

After more than a decade in echocardiography, I’ve seen healthcare from many different perspectives. I know how valuable these services can be, but I also know how inconvenient and difficult accessing them can sometimes be.

So I decided to take what I’ve learned throughout my career and create something different—bringing professional diagnostic services directly to patients, in the comfort and convenience of their own homes.

Medicine is evolving, and I believe it starts at home.

Hope to see you soon,
