Common Conditions We Screen For

  • Heart Failure - Can sometimes be identified by signs such as reduced pumping function or swollen ankles.
  • Heart Valve Disease - Heart valves can leak (regurgitation) or become narrowed (stenosis) with age.
  • Cardiomyopathies - A group of conditions that affect the heart muscle, including many that you can be born with.
  • Atrial Fibrillation & Other Arrhythmias - Atrial fibrillation (AFib) is the leading cause of stroke. We screen for AFib and other abnormal heart rhythms.
  • Carotid Artery Disease - Narrowing of the carotid arteries can reduce blood flow to the brain and increase the risk of stroke.
  • Aneurysms - Abnormal bulging of a blood vessel wall, such as an abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), which can be serious if not detected.
  • Blood Clots - Can help identify blood clots, commonly found in the legs (deep vein thrombosis), which can be dangerous if left untreated.
  • Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) - A narrowing of the arteries that reduces blood flow, often causing poor circulation to the legs and feet.
  • Hypertension - Elevated blood pressure can increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.
  • Reduced Oxygen Saturation - Low oxygen levels can be a sign of heart or lung conditions and may require further evaluation.
  • Other Structural, Electrical & Vascular Abnormalities - We may also identify other findings that affect your heart, blood vessels, and overall cardiovascular health.
